MSVCP140.dll error when playing a game?

msvcp140.dll is a VCRUNTIME DLL file. Reinstall the Visual C++ redistributable files from techpowerup.com and run the .bat installer to install all of them.

How do you save a game to favorites on Omega?

When you have a game highlighted, press the Player 1 coin button. That will bring up a new menu. Click on the Favorite option. Note: it won't show up on your Favorites wheel until you close and relaunch Big Box.

How can I use buttons or controller buttons for PS1 games?

PS1 is mapped to the control panel by default. If you want to use controllers, map them how you want them in the emulator.

LaunchBox won't open anymore with an error, what should I do?

In C:\Users\Administrator\LaunchBox\Updates you should have LaunchBox-12.13-Setup.exe. Re-run that and you should be ok. Alternatively, download the latest version from the LaunchBox website.

How do I turn off the scrolling sound?

Go to settings, hit Unlock, enter 1111 as the code, and turn it off.

Can I organize the main wheel into alphabetical order?

House of the Dead or TeknoParrot game won't start

This is likely due to missing DLL files. Reinstall the Visual C++ redistributable files from techpowerup.com and run the .bat installer.

TeknoParrot is saying I need a serial number

Most games are free to play from TeknoParrot, but some require a license. Check teknogods.github.io for more information.

How do I disable LEDBlinky & OBS Studio?

Open Task Manager (CTRL + ESC), click the Startup tab, find LEDBlinky and OBS Studio, right-click each and click Disable.

TeknoParrot says there's an update, should I update?

Be wary — TeknoParrot is not stable and some updates break things. If you must update, backup the entire TeknoParrot folder first. The average user should never update.

Game got removed from the wheel after I favorited it, where did it go?

It doesn't remove them, but it may move them to the start of the wheel. Go to Options > Views and make sure "Show Favorited Games First" is unchecked.
