5. Megacade
The 4-person Megacade is the star of the EHA machine family, representing 70% of EHA's builds. Below is an overview of Megacades, along with their positives and negatives compared against other EHA machines.
Megacade Overview
- Large machines (48"W x 38"D x 72"H).
- Weigh nearly 300 pounds — find a permanent place and don't move them.
- The 4-person Megacade comes with a 50" 4K TV; the 2-person with a 43" TV. The TV sits behind glass for protection.
- Solid sound system with a subwoofer — quite loud when turned up, which adds to the gaming experience.
- Accepts headphones — joysticks and buttons are very quiet, so late night gaming is a go!
- Computer hardware can be upgraded and replaced like any PC.
- Wide 4-player field can accommodate 4 adult players.
- Comes with wheels — perform well on hard surfaces, not great on carpet (can be upgraded from Amazon).
- Can accommodate light guns. It is best to get light guns from EHA when purchasing. Gun4IR LEDs should go behind the glass in front of the TV — EHA can do this at the factory. Recommended guns: Gun4IR (highly recommended) or Sinden.
- Can accommodate many external peripherals: steering wheel/pedals, flight stick, guitar, Xbox controllers, dance pad, etc.

Megacade Positives
- EHA can set everything up at the factory — arrives completely ready to play.
- Large, bright 4K display (50" for 4-player, 43" for 2-player).
- Plenty of room on the playing field for multiple players.
- Can accommodate an active or passive marquee.
- Flat top can accommodate a third monitor.
- All-in-one system — unlike Pedestals or GameBoxes with external TVs.
- Large sides for graphics to personalize your machine.
- Spacious cabinet keeps heat down and makes computer modifications easier.
Megacade Negatives
- Large and heavy — difficult to move through tight doorways and spaces. EHA can cut the machine horizontally under the monitor if needed.
- Active marquees require ongoing support when problems arise.
- Adding Gun4IR LEDs behind the glass after purchase is challenging.
- Built-in TV would be difficult to replace if needed.
- Tend to be more expensive than other EHA machines.
