Zaxxon is a 1982 isometric shooter arcade game developed by Sega. Players pilot a spacecraft over a scrolling fortress and through space, engaging enemy fighters and ground defenses from an innovative diagonal perspective. It was one of the first arcade games to use isometric projection and 3D-like visuals.
