Galaxian is a 1979 fixed shooter arcade game developed by Namco. Building on the Space Invaders formula, it featured full-color graphics and enemies that dove at the player in dramatic attack formations, rather than simply marching back and forth. It was one of the first arcade games to use RGB color graphics and represented a significant leap in visual fidelity.
