Mortal Kombat II is a 1993 fighting arcade game developed by Midway, the sequel to the original Mortal Kombat. The game expanded the roster to twelve fighters, introduced new Fatality moves and the comical Friendship and Babality finishers, and refined the gameplay significantly. It was enormously successful commercially and is widely considered the best entry in the original Mortal Kombat trilogy.
