Lemmings is a 1991 puzzle video game developed by DMA Design for MS-DOS and other platforms. Players must guide a group of suicidal, single-minded lemmings from an entrance to an exit by assigning them roles such as digger, builder, and blocker. An enormously influential puzzle game, it was ported to dozens of platforms and is credited with popularizing the real-time strategy puzzle genre.
